Other than the basics pretty much anything we want has to be imported but for some larger items that is not always easy. If you have a container load and are familiar with Bahamian customs procedures the process is not too bad. However, most of the time we don't need to bring a full container.
By sharing a container with others you can get the benefit of container shipping without the costs associated with a full container of your own.
How Does It Work?
If you are in a hurry for something then honestly it probably won't work for you. If your schedule is flexible then we add your name to a list along with the amount of space you will need and when we have enough for a full container we will let you know.
We think you will find this service particularly helpful after a hurricane when you may need to bring in a diverse collection of items such as building supplies, furniture and appliances.
